CluckSync started as a weekend habit that got out of hand — a small team of tabletop nerds, tinkerers, and shelf-diorama builders who kept sketching layouts on graph paper before ever touching a real board, a real desk, or a real brick set. We built the tool we wished we'd had: a fast, isometric sketchpad for testing an idea before it becomes a commitment.
Big builds start small and messy. We believe the planning stage should feel like play, not paperwork — no rulers, no spreadsheets, no guesswork about whether twelve tiles will actually fit on that table. CluckSync exists to make the "figuring it out" part of building something feel as satisfying as the finished thing.

CluckSync was built on one simple rule: your boards, pieces, and layouts belong to you and only ever live on your device. Here's the detail behind that promise.
CluckSync collects nothing. There's no account to create, no name or email to hand over, no location tracking, and no usage analytics running in the background. Every map you sketch, every custom piece you design, and every saved snapshot stays exactly where you made it — on your device.
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, or sold. There is no profile of you anywhere in our systems, for the simple reason that we have no systems holding your data. Every feature — placing pieces, building custom props, saving snapshots — runs entirely on-device, start to finish.
All of your content — boards, saved snapshots, custom piece designs — is stored locally on your device only. There is no cloud sync, no remote server, and no background upload of any kind. If your device never connects to the internet, CluckSync works exactly the same.
CluckSync does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs of any kind. Nothing about your activity in the app is shared with, or visible to, any outside company.
Because your data never leaves your device, there's no server-side breach risk, no account credentials to steal, and no transmission to intercept. Security here means simplicity: less surface area, less exposure.
CluckSync does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data collection occurs for any user, the app is compliant with COPPA by design rather than by policy.
You are always in complete control of your content. There are no cloud backups and no account to delete, because none exist. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored boards, pieces, and snapshots — completely and immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect new features or clarify existing language. Any changes will be posted here with a revised effective date at the top of the page.
